In 2022, roughly 92.4 percent of children in the European Economic Area (EEA) received their first dose of the measles vaccination, while 89.7 percent received their second dose. The two large drops in children receiving two doses of the measles vaccine in Europe corresponds with two large spikes in cases of the disease in 2002 and 2010.
