Change in the volume of retail trade in the CEE region 2020

As a result of the coronavirus epidemic, all the countries indicated decreases in retail sales compared to the previous year. The most significant increase in June 2020 was recorded in Estonia, where sales (excluding motorization, fixed prices, and calendar adjusted data) increased by 6.6 percent year-on-year. On average, in the European Union, retail sales grew by 1.3 percent, with Bulgaria recording the most significant fall in the CEE region.
