Share of grants and funding for the arts in Australia FY 2022 by area of practice
In 2022, visual art initiatives attracted 20 percent of the total funding allocated to the arts by the Australia Council for the Arts. Theatre and music received the second and third largest portions of the funding available. Seven percent of funding was granted to First Nations arts and culture.
