Risk of heart problems India 2019 by body mass index
As per the results of a large scale survey conducted across India, about 17 percent of the respondents who suffered from heart problems in 2019 were severely obese. At the same time about 16 percent of underweight respondents also reported to suffer from heart issues. This data showed that people with extremely high or low weight are at a higher risk for heart diseases.
