Leading TV advertisers in Russia 2022, by spending
Sber was the leading advertiser on television by ad spending in Russia in 2022, followed by Yandex and Ozon. Sber's expenditure on TV advertising reached approximately 8.5 billion Russian rubles in that year. Other major advertisers included Vkusno i Tochka, a local brand that replaced McDonald's in Russia, and VTB. Several Western companies that were among the leading TV advertisers in Russia prior to 2022 left the market or limited their activities in the country due to the war in Ukraine, including PepsiCo, Procter & Gamble, Nestlé, GSK Consumer Healthcare, and Reckitt Benckiser.
