Attempt to quit smoking during COVID-19 India 2020 by age

According to a survey on the state of smoking during the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, about 72 percent of smokers aged between 18 and 24 years old stated that they attempted to quit smoking. The Indian government announced a ban the sale of liquor, tobacco, and chewing tobacco or gutka on April 15, 2020 as a measure to slow the spread of virus during the lockdown.
