In 2020, 1,360 rejected asylum seekers got a positive response to their work permit applications in Sweden. 744 of the applicants received the work permits for technician and associate professional positions. On the other hand, 10 of the work permits were given to persons assuming management positions and 239 were given to persons for work requiring service, care, and sales.
