An October 2019 survey of partnered adults in the United States found that only ten percent of respondents aged 30 to 49 years said that their partner was never distracted by their cellphone when they were trying to have a conversation with them. In comparison, 19 percent of partnered U.S adults in the same age group said that their partner was often distracted by their cellphone during conversations.
