Between 2008 and 2018, the share of households in Nigeria owning at least one insecticide-treated nets increased. In particular, ITNs are used as a personal protection against malaria and other diseases. In 2018, only eight percent of houses had a ITN, whereas in 2018, 61 percent of households were provided with this specific mosquito net. However, a drop by eight percentage points was registered between 2015 and 2018.
