According to a survey by McKinsey & Company on economic optimism during COVID-19 in Indonesia, 39 percent of respondents stated that they were optimistic that the Indonesian economy would rebound after COVID-19 as at May 22. This figure was down from a high of 53 percent as at April 12. Indonesia was one of the most countries most affected by COVID-19 in Southeast Asia.
