Awareness of the new immigration policy among companies Japan 2019
According to a survey conducted from June to July 2019, around 57 percent of companies in Japan knew about the amendment of the Immigration Control and Refugee Recognition Act that was enacted in April 2019. The Immigration Control and Refugee Recognition Act regulates the entry into and departure from Japan. Its amendment allowed blue-collar workers to enter the country and work in one of 14 different industries suffering from a lack of labor.
