Denmark: discrimination of young people by origin

51 percent of young people of non-Western origin in Denmark had experienced discrimination over the past year, according to a survey from 2018. That was eight percentage points more when compared to a similar survey from 2018. Young people of Danish origin also stated to have experienced growing discrimination, from 20 percent in 2015 to 24 percent in 2018. For the respondents of other Western origin, however, the share who had been discriminated remained the same at 31 percent.
