Vegetables: price comparison per kilogram by type France 2021

In France, there is quite a difference in the average prices per kilogram between organic and conventional vegetables. Indeed, green beans, whether conventionally or organically grown, are the most expensive produce among all the vegetables studied. However, in 2021, one kilogram of organic green beans cost 10.38 euros, whereas one kilogram of conventional green beans cost 4.33 euros, a difference of 6.05 euros.

The surveys cover the prices of 8 fruits and 10 vegetables, from conventional and organic farming,
