As of April 2020, 16 percent of survey respondents who were Democrats believed that allowing all voters to vote by mail would result in there being a great deal of voter fraud in the 2020 U.S. presidential election. This contrasts sharply to the 50 percent of Republican respondents who believed that extending postal voting would result in a great deal of fraud.
