Mexico: leading imports of commodities 2022
In 2022, the category of electrical machinery and equipment and parts thereof; sound recorders and reproducers, television image and sound recorders and reproducers, and parts and accessories of such articles ranked first among goods imported in Mexico, with a value of approximately 117 billion U.S. dollars. In comparison, organic chemicals, a category which ranked ninth among Mexican imports, accounted for 13.3 billion U.S. dollars out of the 604.6 billion U.S. dollars' worth of goods imported that year. In terms of main exported commodities from Mexico, vehicles other than railway or tramway rolling stock ranked first.
