Italy: most important qualities of industrial foods for pets 2020

Veterinaries usually find industrial ready-made food to be the healthiest way to feed our pets. But what are the qualities that make this nutrition method stand out among the others? A sample of Italian veterinaries was asked this question and most of them agreed on its production process control, its formulation accuracy, its coverage of nutritional needs and its health security, with levels of agreement with these options ranging from 80 to 90 percent. What turned out to be quite unclear was veterinaries' opinion on the quality of raw materials used in the production process, with as much as 42 percent of the respondents unable to take a stand on the matter.
