According to a survey in November 2020, opinion among registered voters in the U.S. over who will control the Senate following the 2020 election tracked political ideology. 77 percent of respondents who identified as conservative believed the Republicans would retain control of the Senate, while 68 percent of liberals thought the Democratic Party would win control.
