According to a survey in June 2020, 44 percent of U.S. adults strongly approve of the Supreme Court's decision that Title VII prohibits discrimination against workers because of their sexual orientation or transgender status, meaning LGBTQ workers can no longer be fired for their sexual orientation or transgender status. In addition, 21 percent of respondents somewhat approved of this decision.
