Number of university students in Russia 2022, by gender and age
Over 287,100 female students and about 240,300 male students aged 19 years were enrolled in bachelor's, specialist's, and master's programs at Russian higher education institutions in the academic year 2022/2023. Most people in Russia finished school at the age of 17 or 18 years. Women outnumbered male higher education students in age categories up to 23 years.
