As of 2020, Ontario's employees were earning an average of 30.22 Canadian dollars an hour in the goods producing industries and 25.35 Canadian dollars an hour in the service producing industries. In Ontario, 2001 had the lowest average hourly earnings for both goods and service producing industries at 20.62 and 14.88 Canadian dollars an hour respectively.
