Monthly export volume of cut flowers in Kenya 2019-2021
The export volume of cut flowers from Kenya increased to 11.7 thousand metric tons in July 2023, up from 8.9 thousand metric tons in the previous month. In March and September 2022, the country exported a record amount of cut flowers, with 1,421 and 1,418 thousand metric tons, respectively. Although the country lost flower exports to Russia and Ukraine as the result of the war, they have recouped these losses from other markets, namely Japan and Australia.
