
Monthly import value of food and beverages from 2019-2023
The import value of food and beverages to Kenya in January 2023 was measured at some 24.15 billion Kenyan shillings (KSh), roughly 167 million U.S. dollars. The value dropped from 26.86 billion Kenyan shillings in the previous month. Kenya imports mainly maize, unmilled wheat and wheat flour, rice, and sugar. The majority of the goods come from Uganda, South Africa, European countries, India, and the United States.
