Investment plans for improving animal welfare on English farms 2019

In October of 2019, approximately 14 percent of responding farm holdings in England stated that they already invested in equipment or software for monitoring, data collection and managing of collected health and welfare data with the aim of improving animal welfare on the farm holding in question. Another quarter of farm holdings planned to make investments in this area in the coming 5 years.
