Share of Italians who purchased online video games 2019, by age and gender
According to a survey conducted in 2019, more male than female Italians purchased online video game or video game updates. Whereas roughly one third of male respondents aged between 14 and 17 years bought these products on the internet, only five percent of female interviewees did the same. By contrast, no male respondent aged 75 years or older claimed to use the web to buy video games, while about four percent of female respondents did so in 2019.
