As of fall 2018, the tribally controlled degree-granting postsecondary institution with the highest enrollment was Fond du Lac Tribal and Community College in Minnesota, with 1,982 students. Of the 34 tribally controlled postsecondary institutions in the United States at this time, only four had more than one thousand students.
