In the first quarter of 2020, Frankfurt was the city with the largest value of vacant office space among Germany's big 7 cities. Most of the cities saw a decrease in vacant space between the first quarter of 2019 and 2020, which indicates high demand on the market. In Hamburg, for instance, vacancy fell by almost 157 thousand square meters.
