Main reason for decrease in media piracy South Korea 2023
According to a survey conducted in South Korea in early 2023, around 23 percent of respondents stated that their consumption of pirated media decreased because their overall content consumption decreased. This was the most common reason by far, followed by stopping after realizing it was not the official source and the overwhelming presence of harmful ads on piracy websites.
