Reasons for abandoning online travel bookings in the UK 2019

Hidden charges are one of the main reasons for UK consumers to abandon online bookings on travel websites. According to a survey from November 2019, 29 percent of respondents said that had abandoned a purchase on an online travel site due to hidden fees. Almost a quarter of the respondents said they found cheaper offers elsewere for the same product.
