Most funded Latin American online food delivery companies 2022
As of December 2022, investments raised by Colombia-based on-demand delivery service Rappi amounted to about 2.3 billion U.S. dollars. In addition to the one billion dollar investment received by SoftBank in 2019, the unicorn has since raised a total of 950 million dollars. For its part, Brazilian competitor iFood had obtained almost 2.1 billion dollars in funding by that date, more than half raised from a Secondary Market round in August 2022. Launched in early 2020 amid the pandemic, Venezuela-born startup Yummy has since received funding of nearly 80 million U.S. dollars.
