Average household size in Tanzania 1991-2018
Between 2017 and 2018, Tanzania registered the small size for households: 4.6 members on average. In the previous period, 2011 to 2012, the average was five people per household. The biggest size was measured between 1991 and 1992, when the households had on average 5.7 members.
