Belgium: breast cancer screening

From 1997 to 2018, the prevalence of mammography screening increased in Belgium. In 2018, roughly one out of three women, aged 15 years and older, had a screening for breast cancer in Belgium. Since 1997, mammogram screenings increased by 10 percent in Belgium. Nonetheless, the share of women who were screened for breast cancer decreased in 2018.
