Impact of mental ill health on the work of doctors in the UK in 2019
In 2019, 70 percent of doctors in the UK who are suffering from conditions such depression, anxiety, burnout, stress, or emotional stress reported that this affected their work by making them less able to take on additional responsibilities. Furthermore, 66 percent of respondents said their condition stops them from working or studying additional hours, while around 64 percent were worried that they would make mistakes.
