Hungary: changing vacation plans after COVID-19 regulations 2020

As of June 2020, 37 percent of Hungarians did not plan to go on vacation at all. Due to the new regulations introduced by the government, imposing mandatory quarantine on Hungarian citizens returning from countries with a higher infection rate, over one-third of respondents decided to travel only domestically in the summer of 2020.

Each country was assigned red, yellow or green status. These colors indicate whether an entry ban or obligatory quarantine is imposed upon entering Hungary from the country.
