Export volume of wheat in South Africa 2000-2020
As of 2019/2020, the export volume of wheat in South Africa was approximately 78 thousand metric tons. This was a significant drop of almost 40 percent compared to the previous year. Between 2000 and 2020, the export volume fluctuated significantly with three major other drops of 29.7, 25.4, and 76.4 percent in 2005/2006, 2010/2011 and 2015/2016, respectively.
