As per the results of a large scale survey conducted across India in 2020, about 14.8 percent of adults between the ages 30 and 44 years were smokers. Furthermore, over 14 percent of young adults smoked regularly this year. Smoking causes a various of health issues from tooth decay to stroke to cancer and adversely affects the body.
