In a recent survey conducted in the Philippines, Facebook’s account holders were made up of people mostly between 18 and 24 years old. In addition, both its male and female users belonged to the same age group, where the latter was found to be the greater gender using the social media platform.
As Facebook continues to grow within this select group of users, it prompts social media marketing or social advertising to use that time and screen space to promote various products and services. One important aspect of social advertising is its advert clicks. In the Philippines, an average of ten advert clicks per month was recorded by Facebook users. Furthermore, female users accounted for over 50 percent of its advertising audience.
