COVID-19 in Mexico: change of habits 2020

The first cases of COVID-19 in Mexico were recorded on February 28, 2020. Since then, several lockdown measures have been implemented in the country in order to limit the spread of the disease, causing changes in the daily routines of Mexicans. According to a survey carried out in the country during April, 2020, around 43 percent of respondents changed their habits by not being able to leave their home, while close to 32 percent stated having lost their job. Meanwhile, around nine percent of Mexicans surveyed declared having improved their hygiene habits.
