Internet penetration rate Japan 2022, by household income
According to a survey that was conducted in Japan in 2022, the internet penetration rate among people who belong to households with an income of less than two million Japanese yen per year amounted to 61 percent. The share of people who use the internet was higher among households with a higher income. Next to household income, the internet penetration rate also differed depending on factors such as the age group of respondents as well as the regions people live in.
