Number of demonstrators during the pension reform strike in France 2019-2020
This graph shows the number of participants during the protests against the pension reform in France between December 5, 2019, and February 20, 2020. According to data from the French Ministry of the Interior, the first day of mobilization against the pension reform brought 806,000 people together. Over the weeks, and despite a surge on December 17, 2019, the movement ran out of steam and the number of demonstrators fell below 100,000 on February 20, 2020.
