Frequency of sushi consumption at conveyor belt restaurants Japan 2021
According to a survey conducted in Japan in March 2021, around one third of respondents ate at conveyor belt sushi restaurants at least once a month. While 5.5 percent would visit establishments at least once per week, the largest share would eat conveyor belt sushi only once in two to three months. In Japan, people who eat sushi at least once a month are called "sushimen" or "sushijo".
