SBB operating revenue for freight and passenger rail traffic 2015-2021

Between 2015 and 2019, the Swiss rail operator SBB has observed increases in operating revenue both in terms of its passenger rail and freight rail services. With the COVID-19 pandemic, passenger rail revenue dropped to under 2.5 billion Swiss francs in 2020, before slowly rebounding up three percent to 2.54 billion Swiss francs in 2021. The freight segment faired similarly, reaching 777 million Swiss francs in operating revenue in 2021.
