Nearly ten percent of people in the Netherlands had never bought used goods as of 2019. In contrast, more than half of the Dutch consumers indicated that they had purchased second-hand goods in the past six months. This was concluded from the results of a widespread survey on the circular economy in the Netherlands. In addition to the purchasing of used goods, nearly 90 percent of the respondents said that they had sold something at least once in their lives.
