Production value of grapes from South Africa 2000-2019
As of 2018/19, the production value of grapes from South Africa declined to roughly 13.3 billion South African Rands (around 810.2 million U.S. dollars). In the year before, the value reached approximately 15.3 billion Rands (roughly 935.5 million U.S. dollars). Since 2000, the production value followed an upgoing trend, starting at 3.28 billion Rands (200 million U.S. dollars) in that year.
