Export volume of pears from South Africa 2000-2019
As of 2018/2019, the preliminary export volume of pears in South Africa amounted to roughly 212.6 thousand metric tons, a slight increase of 0.77 percent from the previous year. Since 2000, an upgoing trend has been recorded in the export quantity of pears. In 2015/16, there was a peak of 221.72 thousand metric tons, a growth of 15.37 percent from the preceding year.
