Mexico: change in home loans 2019-2020

The new coronavirus disease (COVID-19) has hit the real estate industry in Mexico. It was estimated that in 2020, the number of housing loans would decrease by nine percent in the North American country, in comparison to the previous year. Loans for house purchasing were expected to suffer the most, with an estimated reduction of almost 12 percent.
