COVID-19: variation in private consumption forecast by the Spanish Government 2020-2021
Private consumption is the expenditure made by organizations, companies, families and individuals in a country during a specified period of time (normally one year) in order to satisfy their needs for goods and services. This basic indicator for measuring GDP showed a decline, with a decrease of more than nine percentage points for 2020, according to the forecasts presented by the Spanish government in May 2020.
