Share of French users of electric scooters 2019, by destination
The French urban space has been modified by the arrival of self-service scooters in 2018. One year later, this survey sheds light on this new mode of transport as well as its users.
According to the study, the pleasant ride and the fun aspect were the main reasons for use shared electric scooters for the French. We can thus observe that walks and journeys to places for going out were in the first place in the ranking of the main destinations of users.
However, the places for going out were on par with the journeys to go home . Thus, 16 percent of users cited home as the final destination of their journeys.
