Tourism investment in Latin American countries

In 2019, Brazil was the Latin American country with the highest capital investment in travel and tourism in the region, with 18.14 billion U.S. dollars worth of investments. Meanwhile, tourism investors in Mexico contributed with 9.32 billion dollars to the sector. That year, Brazil also ranked among the top ten countries for tourism capital investment worldwide.
