Production of bananas in Angola in crop year 2018-2019

The production of bananas in Angola grew by 2.1 percent in the crop year 2018/2019, compared to the preceding period. Bananas are the main fruit crop in the country. A little over four million metric tons were harvested in the crop year 2018/2019, accounting for more than 70 percent of the total fruit production.
