Production growth of cassava in Angola in crop year 2018-2019
In the crop year 2018/2019, the production of cassava in Angola grew by 3.09 percent. Around nine million metric tons were produced, against approximately 8.73 million metric tons in the preceding period. Cassava is the main crop in the country. The root is also a major item in Angolan food consumption.
